1. What is iBakeSale?

iBakeSale offers members up to 20% cash back for purchases made at hundreds of participating businesses. Rewards are based on a percentage of the purchase amount and can be donated to any organization of any size.

2. Can I support any organization in my community?

Yes, it takes only a minute to sign up your local sports team, school, religious, or other organization. iBakeSale members can choose to support your organization during or after sign-up. We simply write your organization a check at the end of every month as long as we have received the funds from our merchant partners.

You can just ask other members to sign up for iBakeSale and select your organization from the list or go to Spread the word and tell them right now!

6. Can I sign up an organization on behalf of somebody else and designate a different person as group leader?

Yes, just make sure that you tell this person, so they are expecting a check!

7. How much of my cash back reward goes to charity?

As much as you want. You can donate all of your cash back, keep it all for yourself, or anything in-between.

8. Is the donation to my organization tax-deductible?

Yes, if the organization that you are supporting is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit. We'll send you receipts for the IRS before tax time.

9. Is there a membership fee?

No. Unlike many other rebate or points programs, iBakeSale does not currently charge its members a fee to join. The rewards you earn are part of our agreement with participating businesses. This program is also completely free to fundraising organizations.

Unlike other programs, we won't give you points, airline miles or gift cards. We'll give you real cash, right on your favorite credit card(s).

Yes you can. Use any other existing promotion or coupon you want.

14. Do my iBakeSale deals expire?

No they don't. You can use the offers as many times as you'd like. If there’s an offer for 10% cash-back at your favorite store, you’ll get 10% cash-back EVERY TIME you shop.

14. Does my group need to be a 501(C)(3) charity with tax-exempt status?

Not at all. In fact, our goal is to allow every group, regardless of size or tax-exempt status to use iBakeSale to raise money.

16. What if I don't want to donate any money?

You don't have to donate any money. When you sign-up you should choose to donate zero percent of your rewards. If you are already signed up, go to edit my profile. Simply change your donation percentage to zero and save your changes. That's it; you are now keeping all the cash-back rewards for yourself.

17. What if I want to change or remove the groups I'm supporting?

If you would like to add a new group or stop supporting your groups, go to edit my profile. Simply add or remove any group and save your changes.

18. Can I use iBakeSale to shop in a brick & mortar store?

At this point, you must shop through our website to earn your cash-back rewards and support your favorite causes. In the near future, we hope to allow members to shop, save & donate by making purchases in-store as well as online. We'll keep you posted on any new developments!

19. Is iBakeSale a non-profit organization?

No, iBakeSale is a for-profit corporation that helps non-profits, community organizations, and other organizations raise money for their cause.

20. How much money can I expect to raise for my group through iBakeSale?

Any group can expect to raise approximately $100 annually per member. This assumes 3 purchases of $55 each month, a 10% discount, and 50% donated exclusively back to specific organization. You can drastically increase the amount of money you will raise for your group by inviting others to support your cause.

21. I made a purchase over a week ago and it still hasn't shown up on my iBakeSale statement. What's going on?

In some instances, it may take several days for the purchase data to arrive from the merchant. As soon as we receive the data for your purchase from the merchant, we will send you an email confirming it and post it on your iBakeSale statement. Once you receive this email, it will take 30-60 days before your cash-back is available.

22. When do I get my money?

It can take 30-60 days for merchants to send us the money for your purchase. Your available balance will be updated as soon as merchants give us the money for your cash-back rewards.You can then hit the "Get Paid & Donate!" button as illustrated below.

23. How do I know when I receive my cash-back rewards on my credit card statement?

Look at your credit card statement under the "Payments/Adjustments and Credits" (or similar name) section. You should see a transaction for the amount of your iBakeSale cash-back rewards with a description of "Electronic Payment - Thanks You" or something similar. This all depends on what type of credit card you have, but you see something that looks like the following:

24. So how does iBakeSale work?

Once you sign-up, you can select any of the more than 1 million organizations already in our database or sign-up a new group to support.

You can shop at our hundreds of online merchants by clicking on any icon or link on the rewards page.

When you click on any merchant, you will be brought to that merchant's home page. You just shop as you normally would.

After you make a purchase, the merchant will send you a confirmation email thanking you for your purchase with your purchase details.

As soon as that merchant sends your purchase data to iBakeSale, you will receive a confirmation email from iBakeSale telling you how much you will save and donate to your groups with the savings from that purchase.

The purchase details will now be available for you to view in my account under statements. Your iBakeSale Savings will also reflect the amount you saved from that purchase.

As soon as iBakeSale receives the funds from the merchant, you will see the available funds reflected in "Your Available Balance" on the my account page.

You can hit the "Get Paid & Donate" button once the funds are available and provide some additional information to ensure we pay you correctly.

iBakeSale will put your cash-back directly on your credit card at the end of the month and write a check to each group you are supporting through our program.

Your cash-back and give-back history will be reflected both on the my account dashboard as well as on your statements page.

25. How does iBakeSale protect my privacy?

iBakeSale will never share your personal information. If you choose to support a tax-deductible organization, we will provide your name and address to the organization so you can receive a receipt for tax purposes. 26. How do I know that my personal information is safe?

The security of your personal information is our #1 priority. Using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL), as certified by Verisign, iBakeSale automatically encrypts your sensitive information in transit from your computer to ours. Once your information reaches us, it resides on servers that are configured for maximum security and are continuously monitored for unauthorized changes.
